ERCOT will be adding a new report to their August 2020 release. The new report will be available within the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS). Components of the new reports will pertain to all wind and solar forecasts. Below is a sample of the new reports:
Hourly Short-Term Wind Power Forecast (STWPF)
Short-Term PhotoVoltaic Power Forecast (STPPF)
Wind-powered Generation Resource Production Potential (WGRPP)
PhotoVoltaic Generation Resource Production Potential (PVGRPP)
Values from each forecast model will include an indication of which model is being used for each forecast. Adapt2 will integrate the new reports into an upcoming release and work with clients to ensure that they are ready for the changes coming soon.
